The type of metal stamping mold determines the accuracy of stamping parts.
In metal stamping parts processing factories, there are many types of stamping dies used to process metal stamping parts, but they can be classified into three major categories: single-process dies, progressive dies, and composite dies. With the help of these molds, the metal material is plastically deformed on the press without breaking, thereby obtaining stamping parts with certain shape, size and precision requirements.
During the stamping process, the accuracy of stamping parts processed by composite molds is higher than that of stamping parts processed by progressive molds, and the accuracy of stamping parts processed by progressive molds is higher than that of stamping parts processed by single-process molds.
The precision of stamping parts processed by composite molds is high, equivalent to IT8~IT11; the precision of stamping parts processed by progressive molds is high, equivalent to IT10~IT13; the accuracy of stamping parts processed by single-process molds is low.
