Stamping process is one of the metal processing methods, mainly the use of stamping equipment and mold to exert pressure on the metal sheet, to promote the separation or deformation of the sheet, so as to obtain the metal sheet to form the size and performance of the stamping parts we want.
In the stamping process, the classification of the basic process of stamping: cold stamping process can be divided into two categories: deformation and separation, according to the stamping method can be divided into five basic processes.
1. Blanking
A stamping process in which sheet metal is separated.
2. Bending
A stamping process in which a metal material is bent to a certain Angle and shape along a bending line.
3. Deep drawing
A stamping process in which flat sheet material is changed into open hollow parts or the size of the hollow parts is further changed.
4. Forming
A stamping process in which local deformation of various properties is used to change the shape of a blank or punch.

A stamping process that redistributes the volume of a metal material.
