What are the stretching process flows?
The stretching process is a common metal processing process, and its process flow is generally as follows:
1. Material preparation
Select appropriate metal sheets according to product requirements, inspect them to ensure that the size and performance of the materials meet the requirements, and clean the surface to remove oil, impurities, etc.
2. Mold design and manufacturing
Design the stretching mold according to the shape and size of the product. The mold must have high precision and good wear resistance. After manufacturing, debug and test to ensure the quality of the mold.
3. Apply lubricant
Apply lubricant to the metal sheet and the surface of the mold to reduce friction, reduce the stretching force, improve the surface quality of the workpiece, and extend the service life of the mold.
4. Stretching operation
Place the lubricated sheet on the stretching die, apply pressure through the press, and make the sheet plastically deform in the die and gradually form the desired shape. During the stretching process, the parameters such as the stretching speed and pressure should be controlled.
5. Subsequent processing
After the stretching is completed, the workpiece is subjected to subsequent processing such as trimming, punching, and shaping to meet the final size and precision requirements of the product.
6. Quality inspection
Use measuring tools, flaw detection equipment, etc. to conduct comprehensive inspection of workpieces to check whether the dimensional accuracy, surface quality, internal defects, etc. meet the standards.
7. Surface treatment
According to product requirements, qualified workpieces are subjected to surface treatment such as electroplating, spraying, etc. to enhance their corrosion resistance and aesthetics.
