According to the functions and requirements of each component, stamping dies are mainly composed of two categories: process parts and structural parts.
1. Process parts
Directly complete the stamping process, that is, parts that come into direct contact with materials or stamping parts. Such as forming parts (punch, die), positioning parts (orientation plate, positioning pin), pressing parts (pressing ring), etc.
2. Structural parts
Parts that play the role of installation, combination, and guidance in the mold. Such as supporting parts (upper and lower die seats, convex and concave die fixing plates), guiding parts (guide pillars, guide sleeves) and fastening parts.
