What is a good punching process for stamping parts?
The cold stamping process is usually used to process stamping parts. Blanking is the most basic process in the cold stamping process. It can not only directly punch out the required formed stamping parts, but also prepare blanks for other cold stamping processes.
A good blanking process should meet the requirements of saving materials, fewer processes, simple mold structure, easy processing, long life, safe and convenient operation, and stable product quality.
Generally speaking, the geometric shape, size and accuracy requirements have the greatest impact on the quality of the blanking process. When designing the blanking process, the following aspects should be fully considered:
1. The shape of the blanking parts should be designed as simple and symmetrical as possible and consistent with the reasonable layout of the material.
2. The accuracy and cross-sectional roughness of the blanking parts;
3. How to arrange the patterns more reasonably;
4. How to build edges;
5. Calculation of punching process force and pressure center.
According to the accuracy requirements of the blanking parts, you can choose whether to use ordinary blanking or precision blanking. The mold used in the punching process is called a punching die. Blanking dies can be divided into blanking dies, punching dies, trimming dies, incision dies, cutting dies, slitting dies, etc.
